She assumed the position in front of the TV with pillow and blanket until dinner time. When she came down she drew the above "sad cucumber" picture. That white board is her twitter. If you want to know how she's feeling or what she's thinking about, that's your best bet... She felt so yucky she didn't even want to have a pic taken of her....see blanket over head. Poor kid. She's still running a fever, but is currently working on a book report...? "It's only WRITING, Mom..." Alrighty then.
Yep, the sickies have hit our house, too. Not just the little ones got it, but the big ones as well. I don't like it when they are sick enough to stay home from school but not sick enough to stay in bed. Drives me crazy because I count on those hours to do all the things that need to be done -- sans children. At least she curled up and stayed put. She must be sicker than my kids were - the fever is always what puts them over the top. Sorry! Hope it doesn't go through the whole family....
ReplyDeleteOK so I know that BFF's share everything, but I WISH they hadn't shared this. We hope SAVI feels better SOON.
ReplyDeleteSo hard to have multiple kids home, I feel for you! At least Savi is a "good" sickie....at least no whinies and she knows how to occupy herself...
ReplyDeleteMust be the flu shots starting to wear off? I dunno, but we were doing pretty well until now.
Aww poor thing! She is the sweetest ever.
ReplyDeleteHope she's feeling better!! As sad as that cucumber looks, it is soooo cute.
ReplyDeleteI wish I had taken another shot of her board yesterday....it went from a cucumber (or was it a caterpillar???) into a butterfly, and had a big arrow pointing down to a big, bold, SICK! I took it as going from a little bit sick, to full blown! She is so funny with that thing.
